As promised, here are the long awaited new head and tail light pics from my 2000 Ford Focus. Turned out the jet blue bulbs that the company sold me are for the OEM headlights though and don't match up to these new projectors so I've got to return them and get a set to match these. :/ Haven't gotten any pics of these at night yet. Will try to take some of those when I get the chance. (Click to enlarge)

On a separate note, my new headlights and taillights for my Focus arrive tomorrow. Can't wait to unbox them and have a look at them first hand. Hopefully will have them installed sometime on Saturday or Sunday. Pics will be posted on here, for sure.
That's about all I got for tonight...too tired to bother with anything else. Peace.

I been thinking lately about my childhood and all the things that I miss the most about it. Other than having virtually no responsibility at all, the thing I miss most are the amazing TV shows I remember watching as a child. The Old Nickelodeon shows were the SHIT back in the day. Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Prometheus and Bob, Guts, Double Dare, Rugrats, and soooo many more. But surprisingly, the show I find myself missing the most is the Power Rangers. And no...I'm not talking any of the 15+ seasons of knock-off power rangers, I'm talking the original mutha fuckin Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! Used to have like every single one of these toys as a kid, then remember selling them (wish I hadn't now) at a yard sale when I was like 14. Am I the only one though that thinks the once the Green Ranger stepped in, he essentially replaced the Red Ranger as the dominant character? I mean yeah he was the most badass of them all, the Dragonzord was the shit, but it felt like Jason got screwed out of being the original "leader" and all when Tommy showed up. For a group of teens they sure managed to avoid all the drama that teenagers today seem to get tangled up in. :-P Anyways, that's my two cents for the day. Peace.

Downsides to getting drunk - (1) Excessive cost when you want to get "shitty". (2) Hangovers - Enough said (3) Inability to remember certain parts of the night before (4) Inability to drive and/or pass a DUI test (5) The need for designated drivers, and the list goes on.
Downsides to "the herb" - (1) It's illegal because the government says so....and...well....erm....that's the only one I can think of. It's cheaper than alcohol in the long run, no hangover like alcohol, rarely (if ever) will you have memory loss from it, almost every person I know hasn't had it affect their ability to drive and I know several friends that have even passed a field sobriety test while totally stoned. And thus, you have no need for a designated driver. I could go into a HUGE rant about the reasons it should be legal, but there are plenty of well constructed, logical arguments out there already. The government just isn't in a position to accept the logical aspects of legalization yet...though I hope to see it come in my lifetime. Till then, I'll just keep enjoying myself. ;)

Life is sometimes not what it seems...one minute you feel like you have a grasp on how things are going and then out of nowhere, something can happen that makes you take it all in a different light. Sometimes you have to truly walk a mile in someone else's shoes before you know just how those shoes feel, especially the pairs which have been worn so many miles... It's funny to me how things tend to work out in life. I've never been what I would call a truly religious person, but I can't help but feel thankful in the last couple months at the way things in my life seem to have fallen, like God really does have a plan for my life and to help me succeed in the ways I've wanted to for so long now. My job situation has never looked better, my course load shouldn't be too bad this semester, my financial status is of no concern whatsoever...for once....and relationship status? Well...we'll take that in due time. I've endured too much pain in my past to be too hopeful of something to just spring out of nowhere any time soon. No thanks. I'll just bide my time till the right thing arises. In the meantime, I'll keep working towards my goals and honestly thanking God for how I've managed to overcome adversities in my life in the last couple months. I feel truly blessed for once in my life, and hopefully the best is yet to come...Thank you, God.

Watching the Boise State/Virginia Tech game and so far, I'm uber impressed with the Broncos. It's EARLY (10-0 Broncos), but they've really manage to throw the Hokies off their game so far. Really pulling for the Broncos in this one, would love to see a team of their caliber get a crack at a higher BCS ranking.

A few months back, I jumped on the Amazon bandwagon finally when I saw they were giving away free Prime accounts to all college students with a valid .edu e-mail address and I must say....shopping from Amazon is incredibly addictive now that I can get free two-day shipping on everything on the site, not to mention if you tinker with your Wish List by adding items to it and visiting them every day, Amazon will occasionally send you a coupon specifically for that item. (I saved over $150 on a new in-dash DVD player this way). All this taken into account, the purchase which made me the happiest is, hands down, a carton of 14 BOXES of Dunkaroos. :) These things are near impossible to find in stores where I live and now I have 14 f*cking boxes of them. Thank you Amazon for letting me be re-live my childhood through Dunkaroos. :D

That being said, mine today read "Your wildest dream will surely come true, keep working towards it." My wildest dream ever since I've been a child has been to own a Lamborghini, so if there's any truth to the fortune cookie's tale, then one day I'll surely be driving the car of my dreams, right?
I won't hold my breath on it...but I will keep my chin up and keep working towards it. I could always hit the lottery, right? (Psyche) But it's still one of my goals, one day...maybe....if I keep working hard enough. I can reach my goal. And if I don't reach my goal? Well I can always settle for a $80,000 sports car instead of one that costs a cool quarter million. ;)

Long day today....woke up early, watched some of the football games. Left to eat lunch with friends around 2PM. Hung out with an awesome friend nearly all day. Drove back to my hometown and now currently eating an Oreo Sonic Blast (Pic related) and about to watch a movie before bed. Life is good. :)
